How to hold abacus |
 |
Put your left thumb on the lower side of the frame, and the other fingers on the upper side, then gently grip the abacus. |

How to keep a pencil |
 |
Lay the pencil head on your thumb and put lower side between your forth finger and little forth finger and little finger. Then use abacus using your index finger and thumb. |

How to clear abacus |
 |
Move your index finger and thumb from right to left along the center bar. This will push all the top beads up, the bottom beads down. |

Use your thumb to move bottom beads, and use your index finger to move top beads. |
